LinkedIn: a social networking platform that is tailored towards the business community. Users connect to other users to establish a network of professionals they know or are acquainted to. Think of LinkedIn as an up-to-date business guide where users can post articles and comments that are generally related to their filed of practice. It is also an effective hiring tool, allowing employers’ access to potential job candidates as well as allowing employees the ability to seek out current sources of employment.
Periscope: is a live video streaming mobile app.
Pinterest: is a sharing platform that allows users to post content to their own pinboards. These pinboards act like virtual inspiration boards containing items users made, want, bought, ate, etc..
Reddit: is a social news platform where the content is created and promoted by its site members. Members submit content which is voted on by the other members.
Snapchat: is an instant image messaging platform that allows users to share images.

Wikipedia: is an encyclopedia that allows online collaboration from anyone registered to the site.
YouTube: is a free video sharing platform that allows users to upload, share and watch videos.
